The Quarrasi Lock Online: My first web-hosted application

As a quick getaway from academics after a whirlwind of exams and a refresher into programming, I made my first leap into browser game development. Now this is something I’ve worked on indirectly (in the form of offered help), but hardly dirtied my hands with.

This project is simple and was in fact completed over a matter of hours, so what deems this “blog-worthy”?

Well, since it’s  a simple vanilla JavaScript game, it’s much easier for me to host it on this website as compared to my other projects, which are either too large in scale or lacking in compability.

The fact that I’ve always wanted to host an application on my website is also a contributing factor. This puzzle is now something anyone can try from anywhere, without having to go through all the hassle of downloading the projects files in order to run it. That’s the beauty of the web.

It’s also, to my knowledge, a one-of-a-kind application as I haven’t seen any other visual interfaces for this puzzle.
